List of weapons to be introduced to MW3

Scorpian / Skorpian SMG

The Skorpian SMG featured in COD 4 and Call of Duty Black Ops. Judging from the screenshot leaks, the gun will be making a return in MW3.

MP5 SMG

The MP5 SMG appeared in COD 4 and looks set to return in Modern Warfare 3. The MP5K appeared in Modern Warfare 2. For MW3, it seems as if the MP5 has a new look.

SCAR-L Assault Rifle

The SCAR-L looks set to make an appearance. In MW2, the SCAR-H was introduced. H stands for Heavy and L stands for Light. The SCAR-L (i.e. the SCAR LIGHT) certainly looks less bulky than the SCAR-H that we seen in the previous Modern Warfare game.

MP412 Russian Pistol

This is a double action .357 magnum revolver. Designed by the same company that designed the Makarov pistol seen in Black Ops.

M14 EBR Assault Rifle

The M14 Enhanced Battle Rifle looks as if it will be included in Modern Warfare 3. The United States Navy Mark 14 Enhanced Battle Rifle is a variant of the M14, which was present in Call of Duty Black Ops. The M14EBR featured in MW2 as a sniper rifle.

Remington Semi-Automatic Sniper System (RSASS)

The Remington Semi-Automatic Sniper System (RSASS) was one of the sniper rifles shown in the leaked MW3 screenshots.

Model 1887 Shotgun

It's back baby! The notorious shotgun, which first made its appearance in MW3, looks as if it will be returning for MW3. After Modern Warfare 2 was released, the 1887 shotgun caused a stir amongst ardent Call of Duty fans because of its unrealistic range.

Remington ACR Assault Rifle

The ACR's first appearance was in MW2. Although it wasn't as powerful as other Assault Rifles, it had almost no recoil.

Walter P99 Pistol

One of the newer additions to MW3 is the P99. This is a semi-automatic pistol that was developed in Germany.

AK47

The AK47 doesn't need an introduction, as it has been present in COD 4, Black Ops and MW2. In MW3, it looks as if the AK47 will have a slick black default texture.

The Barrett 50 Cal Sniper Rifle

The Barrett M82, aka The Barrett 50 Cal will be returning in MW3. You may remember the 50 Cal from COD 4 and MW2.

Striker Shotgun

It looks as if the 12-gauge Striker Shotgun will be returning in Modern Warfare 3. This was labelled "the new striker" in the leaked screenshots.

m320 Grenade Launcher

I'm guessing that grenade launchers won't be removed from the Call of Duty series anytime soon. This m320, which will feature in MW3, was developed by the US Army.

AA12 Shotgun

It looks as if the AA12 Shotgun is another weapon that will be returning in MW3. Introduced in MW2, this Shotgun packed a powerful punch up-close as it was automatic.

As you can see, it looks slightly different in MW3 than how it did in Modern Warfare 2.

KSG Shotgun

The Kel tec KSG looks as if it will be introduced in MW3. The KSG is a bullpup 12 gauge pump action shotgun that was developed in the US.

G36 Assault Rifle

The G36C was an Assault Rifle in COD 4. The G36 will be included in MW3. This Assault Rifle was developed by Heckler & Koch in the early 1990s.

FMG Machine Pistol

The Magpul FMG (FMG-9) is a folding SMG that will feature in Modern Warfare 3. This gun was designed for concealment and covert use. It is an extremely lightweight weapon because of the polymer material that it is made out of.
